After arriving at the terminal, please follow the "car rental" signs until the elevator. You will pick up your rental car at the SIXT branch, which is located on the 1st floor. Your car is available in the car rental parking located on the parking P1 ground floor (level 0).

Take the motorway E40/E42 in direction of Mons/Charleroi, continue on the E42 in the direction of Charleroi and take the exit A54 Charleroi. Take the exit 24: Ransart. Continue and follow the signs Airport/Parking P1/Car Rental Return.

From Brussels

Take the motorway E40/E42 in direction of Charleroi, continue on the E42 in the direction of Charleroi and take the exit 24 : Ransart. Continue and follow the signs Airport/Parking P1/Car Rental Return.

From Liège

Take the motorway E42 in the direction of Namur/Charleroi, take the exit Heppignies. Continue and follow the signs Airport/Parking P1/Car Rental Return.

Return information/Shuttle Service

To return your SIXT vehicle, please follow signs for P1 Parking of Charleroi Airport, until you see 'Car Rental' indications. Please enter the car park, the entry barrier opens automatically. Our SIXT Parking and Return zone is located directly on your left. Please park the vehicle on the first free SIXT parking spot, our SIXT employee, if present, will assist you with the return. If no SIXT employee is present or you return out of opening hours, please check for your belongings and then drop the vehicle key in the orange key box located next to the SIXT office on level 1, on the way to the terminal.

All experiences described here, I had with Budget. Lost 8-10h at airport due to them. For a payed rental car, but they not accepted same card as payment for caution. They requested dinners club travellers card or American express, the latter aren’t allowed in Europe even anymore. And only American bank clients or USA citizens can have American express. They became forbidden in Europe a few years ago. I had several cards a prepayed fully loaded with 5 times the caution. And 3 times that amount in cash. 😀 I could’ve just bought a car. Mr. Kubikay❣️ Really has the right job. Friendly, kind, best front desk officer ever❣️ He ended my nightmare with their concurrence and me running around in rain, phoning wizzair etc. for 8h in rain and cold winter season. It took the bank more then 3 months to get >450euro bill from wizzair/budget refunded, for a vehicle they then rented to another client. And they still kept the money, like a dual rental, disgusting. As requiring American Express from European travellers, that is almost fraud, because these became forbidden all over EU economic area, you cannot get from EU banks anymore? Yes, as American owner of such card, you can use it. I can only recommend sixt❣️ My experience was awesome, except summer tires in winter, had to slow horses and drive carefully.
