Coming from the highway

Coming from the A3: Drive on the Offenbach cross on the 661 toward Bad Homburg. Leave S ie the 661 exit at Frankfurt OST/Hanau/main road B8 and drive to the right. Coming from the A5: Drive at the Bad Homburger Kreuz to the 661 direction Frankfurt am Main/Offenbach/Egelsbach. Leave the 661 exit at Frankfurt on the main East/Hanauer Landstraße B8 and turn left direction Hanau on the Hanauer Landstraße.

Coming from City centre

Ain't coming from the Centre of Frankfurt on the Main, always in an easterly direction to the main go along, follow the Hanauer Landtsrasse, to the East and underpass the highway 661. The motorway exit Frankfurt OST/Hanau/main road B8, is also known as Rathswegkreisel. If you are on the Hanauer Landstraße East of Rathswegkreisels, drive towards Hanau.

With public transportation

Coming from Frankfurt City centre (Konstabler Wache and/or Ostendstraße) please take the lines 11 & 12, station Dieselstraße. The SIXT branch is located opposite the tram station. From the opposite direction please take line 11 from station Frankfurt Schießhüttenstraße or line 12 from Hugo-Junkers Straße.

Parking for private vehicles

There are several public parking areas around the SIXT branch, in the Felix-Wankel-Straße or in the Dieselstraße. Please note, that there are no parking lots available for private vehicles at the SIXT branch.

Passenger cars: Please return your rental car directly to the parking spaces at the SIXT branch. Key drop-off is available 24/7 trough the SIXT branch. Van & Trucks: The access to our Van & Truck parking spaces is located at Dieselstraße 30 - 50. Please use only the designated SIXT parking spaces for vehicle returns. If no availability is found, feel free to park the vehicle in the adjacent streets on public parking spaces: Felix-Wankel-Straße oder Dieselstraße.

The station is not that busy, but has a lot of options available. From my experience the employees are among the most competent among Sixt locations. After long waiting times at the airport branch last time (more than 1h), we decided to pick up the car from the F/M Ost location the day after arrival and will do so again next time. If you dont need the car from the airport, it is worthwhile to consider this branch.
