Your way to SIXT/Shuttle Service

From Terminal A, if you have checked bags, continue across the street to the baggage claim area. After you collected your luggage, go back to the departure side of the terminal where the shuttle stop is. If you don't have any checked bags, simply follow the "Car rental shuttle" signs. Take the shuttle to the Car Rental Center, located across from Terminal B. From Terminal B, follow the signs to the baggage claim area. Leave the building and cross the street to the Car Rental Center.

Return information

Navigate to our SIXT branch located at 1659 Airport Blvd, San Jose, CA 95110. After you arrive at the airport, follow the "Rental car return" signs. Once you arrive, enter the "Rental car return" garage. On the left, take the ramp up to the 3rd floor. Continue going straight to the furthest end of the garage until you see our SIXT return signs. A SIXT agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return. Then you may proceed to the elevators located to your right. After going to the first floor, you may either cross the street for Terminal B or take the designated shuttle to Terminal A.

Returning your rental car

When returning your rental car, simply follow the return instructions provided by our staff. Please ensure that you return the vehicle on time to avoid any late fees. Prior to returning the car, remember to remove all personal belongings and ensure the vehicle is in a reasonably clean condition.

We also provide an after-hours drop-off option. Park your rental vehicle in any of the designated SIXT parking spaces on the 3rd floor of the Car Rental Center. To complete the return, simply drop the keys into the orange SIXT key box.

Thaddeus at the rental counter & Lorena in vehicle pick-up were both fantastic. The 2024 BMW 430i convertible that I rented was immaculate. Unlike other agencies that charge for features like navigation and expanded stereo, my car from Sixt had everything enabled: navigation, HD Stereo, Sirius radio– all were included at no additional charge. Returning the vehicle took less than 3 minutes. It was a Sunday evening, so a little busy; but there were plenty of attendants and mine met me as I stepped out of the car and had me on my way in under 3 minutes. I never really knew what I was missing with regard to service level experience until I rented with Sixt, and I'm impressed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. ☆☆☆☆☆☆
